Iran is building nuclear weapons - every objective observer knows that is true - and the leaders of Iran promise to use them to wipe Israel off the map. They say America, their Great Satan, is next. Although time is very short, it is still not too late to stop the terror masters of Tehran without our soldiers putting their boots on the ground. IRAN COVENANT is a novel, but it shows exactly how to do just that. About the exciting story, George H. Wittman, columnist for The American Spectator, says "Iran's willingness to use any weapon to defeat the US and Israel is deadly accurate - more than many Washington insiders are willing to admit. IRAN COVENANT is an action-filled, technically accurate novel - or a knowledgeable scenario on which a plausible intel forecast could be based. Either way it's a ripping yarn. Chet Nagle knows well his covert weapons systems, and the men who run them."

Iran Covenant Chet Nagle Books

The pantheon of writers who draft novels concerning the perils the world faces in the Middle East and from Islamic fanaticism has just added it's newest member, Chet Nagle. I cannot remember how I found out about this book, but whatever the source, I am thankful for it.

This book is a must read for Daniel Silva, Vince Flynn, Tom Clancy and Brad Thor fans, just to name a few. It drips with the authenticity necessary to make the story that it weaves believable and it is clear that the writer knows the lay of the land and the politics of the times.

I particularly liked the closing paragraph of the author's comments in the preface where he notes: "...for anyone who thinks that Iran's dreadful ambitions cannot be ended decisively and quickly by conventional military action or that Iran can close the vital Straits of Hormuz and starve the world of crude oil or that Iran is so large as to be invulnerable, I have a suggestion. Read this book."

And for those that believe we can talk and negotiate a road to peace with Iran through diplomacy and good will, I have the same suggestion.

You will be the wiser for it.

Iran Covenant Chet Nagle Books Reviews

Fun read and accurate portrayal of the difference between Iran's Regime and their people. Needs a better translator.
Since I do most of my reading after I go to bed at night, I found myself losing a lot of sleep with this book! I couldn't put it down and just had to keep reading to see what happened next. Very good story-telling! I read it on , but I'm buying a paperback copy to share with friends and family. Can't wait to read his next book!
Very provocative subject and great context. A must read for anyone who is concerned about the Mideast and iran's part.
This was a spell binding book about an area that few Americans know about or even care about. I would strongly recommend it for reading pleasure and for learning about the Middle East. The Author even tricked me concerning his "mole"!
This is an action-packed and exciting novel. It has the expertise of the early Tom Clancy stories. I was impressed with Chet Nagle's detailed knowledge of munitions and bombs, but on the other hand, given his background, he would be expected to be an expert. The story moved as rapidly as a Daniel Silva novel, all of which I have found to be cliffhangers. And, for a change, this novel is not about Arab terrorists trying to kill Israelis and CIA operatives. The author has introduced Iran into the equation at just the right moment in time, even though I hope Dehesh is not a prototype for everyday Iranians. At a time when some may be going soft on Iran and its nuclear ambitions (I won't say who), this story snatches us back to reality. Nagle also paints a realistic picture of Israel and its players.
Terrifying terrorists on the loose
I'm an Iranian and live since 10 years in The Netherlands. I've left Iran because I was (and still am) against this monster regime. They're evil that's right. They're looking for atom bomb of course and they'll do everything to survive. They might be after biological and chemical weapons too BUT.... the least thing you expect when you read about a regime is an almost close to reality structure of that regime in that book. The writer has used some real names in his book but the role and function of these persons are funny and have nothing to do with the reality. Khamenei is the supreme leader and not a part of a supreme council. This council should officially choose the supreme leader but it's almost more than 20 years that it's the way around!! Khamenei is since more than e decade the most powerful man in this Mullah's regime and Ahmadi Nejad WAS his poppet. Since a few years Ahamdinjead's group tries to have more of the power and the ruling regime and that's why he's in fight with the supreme leader Khamenei.
The book sounds like a very bad version of James bond movie without any taste. How can an Iranian submarine even cross the Atlantic Ocean?!! Going near The US coast?? Iran has small disel subs who can barely go out of Persian Golf -)
Wasting time was reading this book.
A book about Iranian monster regime that gives a good view is "a time to betray" not this one!!
